The tool’s pricing is straightforward and flexible at the same time. While only two main packages with a predefined price are available, there is an option to contact Proggio team and figure out a custom plan to fit your needs like a glove.

Starter

The starter plan is FREE FOREVER and includes 3 user licenses. With this plan, you can manage 1 project for an unlimited amount of time.

Business

The business plan is $59 per month when billed annually, or $99 per month when billed monthly. It consist of 20 user licence that can manage 5 projects. You can add add additional 5 projects at any time for another $39.

Enterprise

The real convenience regarding the price comes with the enterprise package. It can include an unlimited number of users, viewers and projects, and the price is custom. While the tool seems to be a bit on the expensive side, users can get a 40% discount when choosing annual billing instead of monthly, which makes a significant difference.

Founded in 2016 by Yaniv Shor and Barak Schiby, both project managers with over 15 years of experience, Proggio is a project management tool developed around three fundamental principles: shared purpose, coordination, and focus. The software is suitable for teams of all sizes and based on a modern, holistic approach to project management, which puts people before tasks.

Proggio doesn’t offer much sophistication regarding features. Instead, it’s focused on performing general tasks such as task management, project overviews, and collaboration, with greater effectiveness and efficiency. Their goal is to boost productivity and help teams succeed through organized teamwork.

Right off the bat when you create your account, you get to choose your team sector, which helps the software set everything up conveniently, so you can start working right away.

Close to each section of the tool there is either a pop-up with useful information, or a short video that demonstrates a specific aspect of the tool.

Seamless task management

The task management allows access to all tasks across all projects to multiple team members. The backlog is conveniently located at the left side of the app while the ongoing and completed tasks fill the rest of the board.

You can easily switch between list and board views, and filter tasks based on your projects. Typical task information (level of risk, deadlines, assignees, etc.) is extremely easy to find in the most natural spots. Creating a new task is really easy as well. It literally takes a double click, and the task is open. You just need to modify and assign it to corresponding team members.

Projects like whiteboards

One of the core strengths of the software lies in its similarity to whiteboards, which is standard for most project teams. During the initial planning phase, most teams use a whiteboard to sketch their ideas and only then transfer them to software for the added automation and convenience.

Proggio makes this transition superbly easy since the project creation dashboard closely resembles a whiteboard. Here, you can set dependencies between tasks, create multiple workstreams for all involved team members, easily collaborate on each separate task via chat, comments and attachments, and make any edits via the seamless UI.

Project templates

When creating a new project, you can either start fresh or choose a pre-made template that is already pretty well set-up in accordance with a sector’s specifics regarding dependencies, milestones, risks, etc. You can then customize the template to tailor it to your team’s and projects’ needs pretty quickly, without having to do everything from scratch.

The pre-made templates include website development, app development, event management, manufacturing, company events, etc. There is also an option to import your existing projects if you’re planning to migrate to Proggio from another tool, making the setup a real breeze.

Planning vs. actual

Another great feature of Proggio is called planning vs. actual. This basically shows how your project is progressing regarding the initial plan that you made concerning all the essential aspects including budgeting, time, resource allocation and overall effectiveness. This feature allows the project manager to quickly scan both planned and actual flows of the project during all life cycle stages and identify areas that need improvement instantly, without having to go over complicated and time-consuming analysis.

Portfolio view

The portfolio view shows the progress of all projects under the same tab, giving you an idea of how well you’re progressing on the macro level. Depending on project specifics, the tool automatically calculates an “on track” percentage for each project, serving as a quick evaluation mechanism. You can also delve straight into a given project by double-clicking on it.

If you think that you’ve seen it all when it comes to seamless usage of an online tool, you’ll change your mind after you see Proggio. The UI is simply perfect. All the buttons, tabs, customization options and overviews are located exactly where you’d want them to be. Moreover, the tool supplies a great deal of essential information and yet it doesn’t create a visual mess.

Also, there is absolutely no learning curve involved. The software is accessible via all browsers and is mobile-friendly, allowing you to access your projects anytime, anywhere.

Currently, the app doesn’t offer in-depth analytics and the team behind Proggio is actively working on delivering those soon. However, thanks to the architecture of the tool, basic analytics and reports can be gathered with minimal effort.

For instance, to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your project’s and team’s performance, you can take a look at planning vs. actual results in terms of budgeting, milestones, tasks, and inter-dependencies.

If you’re far behind or ahead on a given aspect, then there is a problem with a specific section, you either underestimated your team’s capabilities, or encountered an issue in a specific area (sales team productivity is way low, for instance). With this information and a small investigation into the matter, you’ll often be able to find the cause of the issue and take corresponding actions.

As for the integrations, Proggio integrates with JIRA and Zapier, two of the most common apps used by project managers. As for G-suite, Microsoft, Quickbooks, Basecamp, DropBox, Slack, Trello and similar, there are no integrations available currently.
